I mean the guy wound up in the hospital at least once an episode. Nothing serious, minor injuries from falling off the roof, an electrocution here and there. The occasional table superglued to his forehead. Needless to say, that stuff adds up. Hospital stays are expensive. Either Tool Time provided Tim with the greatest health benefits known to man, or he was getting paid a shitload to be a spokesman for Binford.
The Taylor's expenses are sky-high when you add in the fact that they basically had to remodel their kitchen once a month, Tim was always trying to give the appliances more power. This constantly left him in the doghouse with Jill. Can you blame the guy though? Who hasn't thought about putting a V-8 engine in their dishwasher? I know I have.
This family should've been in a financial crisis. Why wasn't there an episode where Jill has to explain to Brad and Randy that they won't be receiving allowances anymore. Due to the fact that their dickweed dad rode in the back of an ambulance 15 times last month.
I guess if it really got that bad he could go next door and try to borrow the money from Wilson. Except I don't think Wilson had any money. I don't even recall Wilson ever having a job. How the hell was he making his mortgage payments? He must of been getting helped out by his cousins The Beach boys. It must be nice to be related to famous people.
A lot of his accidents could have been prevented if he had only listened to Al. Al was wise beyond his years. Al had profound knowledge regarding proper tool maintenance. Al was a master of carpentry, and always followed instructions. Tim never followed instructions or asked for directions. Do you know why? It's because he's a man. Argh Argh Argh Argh Argh.....
