Athletes and mascots

I've always found it amusing how some professional athletes look like the mascots of the teams they play for. Take for example, Shannon Sharpe the former pro bowl tight end of the Denver Broncos. Well, take a good look at him. He resembles a bronco, doesn't he? Of all the teams in the NFL he played on the broncos. I think that's awesome. Geez... the resemblance is uncanny. That's Shannon sharpe on the left and a horse on the right. Just in case you couldn't tell the difference.

Long before the Big 3 in Miami, the Toronto Raptors selected Chris Bosh with the 4th overall pick in the 2003 draft. Is it a coincidence that he also looks very much like a raptor. Yes it is. I doubt Toronto drafted him simply for the fact that he looked like a raptor. That would've been a questionable acquisition if it were true, but Chris Bosh is a very skilled player and a valuable asset. That's probably why they drafted him. That and the fact that he is multi-talented. He also is a well known actor. Remember that one movie that he was in with Jeff Goldblum. I can't think of the name of it right now. It was an action movie. It fared pretty well in the box office. Wait now I remember. It was Jurassic Park

Who is the most intense player in the NFL? What NFL player looks the most like a raven? The answer to both of those questions is Ray Lewis. Guess what team he plays for. Yep you guessed it, the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Lewis is the Baltimore Ravens. He's been the face of the franchise for over a decade. He is a testament to the fact that hard work and determination pay off. Also if you have enough money, you can get away with murder. This isn't about him killing somebody though, it's about how he looks like a raven. Look at him. So raven-like it's amazing. By the way, he killed somebody.

That's all for right now. Pau Gasol could be on this list one day if the Lakers ever decide to change their name. I think they should too, because Lakers is a stupid name. They should change it to the Los Angeles That squirrel from the movie Ice Age. That would fit Pau perfectly. I don't think they would go for that though, and it would probably be expensive having that stitched on all the uniforms.
