Lion King in 3D.............

Seriously.............Come on............

Don't get me wrong because I think 3D is cool. It's really cool actually. I'm glad we finally have the technology to make this happen. The only bad thing is that it seems like Hollywood has given up on coming up with new movies. They already remade The Karate Kid and Footloose. Now they are reissuing The Lion King in 3D. Why???? 

This seems completely unnecessary to me. They are taking advantage of the 3D craze. Do they think that the younger generations won't watch it because it isn't in 3D? Are they just out of ideas? Why don't they just come up with a new animated movie to put in 3D? How hard can it be? The writer's aren't on strike anymore right?

The happiest person about this whole situation has to be Jonathan Taylor Thomas. Remember JTT, that guy was pretty funny in Home improvement. Then he disappeared off the face of the earth. Who knows what he's up to now, but he's definitely gonna get paid big off this movie that he was a voice actor for 15 years ago. Not to mention he is still getting paid from Home Improvement being in syndication. Umm....Excuse me sir but what do you do for a living. Well I used to be JTT and now I just collect phat checks every week .Residual Income must be nice.

I wonder about syndication sometimes. Remember the guy who sat next to Cliff in Cheers. I can't even remember his name. How much money does that guy make a year just from the show constantly running on WGN, TBS, NICK, ABC Family, and the Hallmark channel. It must be nice. Is that guy still alive? What the hell was his name anyway? I can't remember. I guess I'll find out when they release Cheers in 3D.
